ABOUT US
Founded in 2013, Women Passionately Pursuing Christ (WPPC) exists to help women grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ through the study of God’s Word.
Our group meets monthly to study the Word of God together.
We also partner with community organizations to bring Bible studies to women, providing a supportive space for spiritual growth and meaningful connections. Through our Bible studies and community outreach, we seek to empower women to live out their faith daily and make a lasting impact in their families, in their workplaces, churches, and communities.
our Mission:
Our mission is to help women pursue an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through the study of His Word. We are also dedicated to serving our community through purposeful outreach and Christ-centered acts of love. With hearts devoted to Christ, we strive to be a light in the world, sharing His love and truth with others.
our vision:
To see women transformed by the Word of God, growing in faith, and living out their purpose in Christ. We envision a community of women passionately pursuing Jesus, impacting their families, churches, and communities through discipleship, service, and the radiant love of Christ.
Our statement of faith:
The Women Passionately Pursuing Christ Organization stands firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word and seek to glorify Him in all that we do.
The Bible
We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They reveal His perfect will for salvation and provide the foundation for Christian living
(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ. By His shed blood and resurrection, all who believe are forgiven, justified, and made new as children of God
(Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1).
God
We believe in one sovereign God, Creator of all things, infinitely holy and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
The Church
We believe in the universal body of believers, united by faith in Christ as Lord and Savior. We are called to worship, serve, and share the gospel, while living in love and community with one another
(1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Hebrews 10:24-25).
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended to heaven and will return in glory and power
(John 1:14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
The Great Commission
We believe in the call to share the love of Christ and proclaim the gospel to all people, encouraging all to grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ
(Matthew 28:19-20).
Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, convicting, teaching, guiding, and empowering them for holy living and service to God
(John 14:26; Galatians 5:22-23).
Eternal Life
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead: eternal life for believers in the presence of God and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him
(John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15).
